Sumsum Ahuofe, a Kumawood actor, has revealed that black magic (juju) is frequently used in the industry.
In an interview with Hello FM, the actor stated that his colleagues, particularly the up and coming, use juju to “take the shine” off top stars.
Similarly to any job where bad nuts exist, Sumsum revealed that some filmmakers work with evil minds and eyes, and they will go to any length to be the center of attention.
Even with the Kumawood industry’s current dysfunction, he believes the spiritual challenge continues.
He revealed that the animosity extends beyond the set, but fan recognition causes some actors to be envious of their colleagues.
Sumsum believes this is a major factor in the decline of some well-known actors.
As a result, he claims they have been forced to fortify themselves with whatever means they can find, whether Christian or traditional.
