Funke Akindele and her husband sentenced to 14 days of Community Service and N100,000 fine each

Nigerian comic actress Funke Akindele and her husband, Abdul Rasheed Bello, a.k.a JJC Skilled has been sentenced to 14 days of community service and N100,000 fine each after defying lockdown orders.

as we reported earlier, Funke and her husband were arrested following a party thrown in their house which is said to be defying social distancing order.

well, the couple after appearing to court pleaded guilty and have been sentence to 14 day community labour and N100,000fine each.

they are also to be isolated in a location to be determined by Lagos state ministry of health to check their health status on coronavirus.

The chief magistrate of Ogba has slapped Funke and her husband with N100,000 fine each and 14 days of the community every three hours per day, excluding Saturday and Sunday. He added that, as part of their community service, the couple must visit 10 important public places within Lagos State to educate the public on the consequences of noncompliance with the restriction order and must submit the names and phone numbers of every person who attended their house party.
