Giovani Caleb, an award-winning radio/TV host, has slammed a woman on Twitter who said that he makes the Date Rush show really dull.
After the premiere of Season 4 of Date Rush a few weeks ago, and it was revealed that Nii Kpakpo Thompson will no longer be the host, several fans of the show took to social media to express their displeasure.
All of these people shared their displeasure with Media General’s decision to fire Nii Kpakpo after he became the show’s sole creator and launched Giovani.
Only a few weeks on the air, this narrative started to shift as more viewers began to appreciate the 3FM drivetime show host’s personality as well.
However, after tonight’s broadcast, it appears that some fans of the show are already concerned about Giovani’s position as host.
In response to a tweet from TV3 about Giovani as host of Date Rush, one woman known as @NanaAkuaSikaP18 on Twitter said, “He is making the show dull, he talks too much, he gives too much focus to the girls to talk too much.”
Giovani immediately came to explain to the lady that it is sense that she does not have and that he is not to blame for the ladies’ failure to obtain his position as host.
