“You Are Over Pampering Us, Initiate A Total Lockdown” – Gifty Anti To Nana Addo

Ghanaian journalist Oheneyere Gifty Anti who is the host of Stand Point show has called out President Nana Akuffo Addo to initiate a total lockdown in the country.

according to Gifty Anti following the rapid increase in coronavirus cases, the President is over pampering us and this needs to stop.

Gifty Anti emphatically compared the US to Ghana as how people die each and every day just because they didn’t listen so as Ghana will be when a total lockdown is not initiated and the same people the President is pampering will accuse him of that.

taken to her Facebook page, Gifty Anti wrote;

“Dear People of God, I think at this rate, I am compelled to join those calling for a total lockdown. What? What is wrong with us?”

“My people, when I got to UK on 10th March 2020, there were 16 deaths. As at the time I was leaving on 22nd March 2020, the total number of deaths was close to 2,000. 2,000 corona virus-related deaths, in less than 2 weeks. Today, total deaths, due to coronavirus, in the UK, are about 10,000. All because they did not listen, just as Ghanaians are not LISTENING!!! Mr President, we can no longer do business as usual”.
