Wesley Girls bans Muslim students from wearing hijab and Praying on campus, including reading the Quran.

According to reports, the administration of Wesley Girls Senior High School has prohibited all Muslims from worshiping on their campus.

Furthermore, the school also prohibited students from taking their Qurans onto the campus.

Some Muslim parents, as well as former Muslim students, have voiced their displeasure with the school’s latest directive. They believe it infringes on their right to freedom of religion.

According to sources, some brave students who wish to exercise their faith pray in their dorms, which they feel is inappropriate and a violation.

Another parent told the media that a student who had been admitted to the school brought in a Quran and a hijab for prayers last week, but that they were returned to her parents because those items were not allowed at the school.

One parent has claimed that while they have no objection to their Muslim children being required to attend religious services because it is part of the school’s laws, they should be able to exercise their faith freely.
