Wendy shay is not happy with how the FDA through a new directive and law which was made in 2015, made her lose a deal worth 1000’s of dollars.
According to wendy shay, she had an endorsement deal with a foreign Alcoholic brand that was going to fetch her a lot of money but had to pull out to adhere to the law which states that no celebrity should endorse an alcoholic drink.
In 2015 the Food and Drugs Board placed a ban on popular people endorsing alcohol, according to them, they did this to ensure that minors are not lured into alcoholism.
She wrote: ‘I just lost a deal worth 1000s‘ of dollars with this foreign alcohol company..I didn’t know in GH Celebrities can’t advertise for alcoholic beverages according to FDA. Like Seriously?! Small food we go chop too u wan take 4rm our mouth. Gh celebs wake up !!FDA Lift dat ban!! she wrote
