We Used To Mix Mortar At Construction Sites To Survive During Our School Days – Tagoe Sisters Recounts

During an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM, the Tagoe Sisters, a veteran Ghanaian Gospel duo, shared their story of how they overcame tough times.

The twins recounted their experience of working at construction sites where they mixed mortar and also worked at a quarry site that is now known as the Achimota station.

Despite the difficult conditions they faced, the Tagoe Sisters never lost their faith and continued to sing gospel music, which eventually led to their breakthrough in the music industry.

They shared how they would sing during their breaks at work and would often be approached by people who were touched by their music.

This gave them the motivation to keep going and pursue their passion for music. The duo also spoke about the importance of hard work and perseverance in achieving success and encouraged others to never give up on their dreams.
