For too many years of marriage, seeing a childbirth delay can be very stressful.
When it comes to when you’ll accept an infant, the expectation from the community, family members, and others can be daunting.
You can feel the burden that would be placed on you if you are unable to give birth after a year.
Now consider marrying and being childless for the next 18 years.
After an 18-year wait, Mena Efua Gyan Mould, 48 years of age, and her husband have finally welcomed a baby boy into their family.
On Sunday, March 14, Ghanaian journalist Afia Pokuaa and friends of the couple posted the happy news on Facebook.
Meanwhile, the new mother issued a statement in which she expressed her thanks to God for remembering her after almost two decades of marriage.
“At the age of 48, I gave my TESTIMONY. Those who put their faith in the LORD, on the other hand, would be improved. She said, “They will fly on eagle’s wings; they will race and not tire; they will walk and not faint.”
“Dear family and friends, I’m writing to express my heartfelt condolences I want to share God’s goodness with the rest of the world. God makes the almost unlikely possible. Despite the fact that it was not a pleasant journey. This is why I haven’t been seen on Facebook. God remembered me after 18 years of marriage in a major way. And I have given birth to a lovely baby girl, all glory to His name.”
“My TESTIMONY @ 48yrs. But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint,” she wrote.
“Dear family and friends. I want to tell the goodness of God to the world. What seems impossible is always possible to God. Though not an easy journey. This is the reason I’ve been missed on facebook. After 18yrs of marriage, God remembered me, big time. And I have delivered a beautiful baby girl all praise to His name”
