“This is not the Ghana we preach about”- Sarkodie reacts to Ejura youth killing

Sarkodie, a Ghanaian rapper, has spoken out about the ongoing violence in Ejura following the killing of a young man identified as Kaaka.

Kaaka was allegedly assassinated by a mob for his apparent role in the ongoing Fix The Country demonstration, in which he was identified as one of the activists leading the charge.

Following his death, there have been large-scale violent protests, which have been met with gunfire from Ghanaian Armed Forces soldiers, resulting in the deaths of at least two demonstrators and countless injuries to others.

In response to the events detailed in a Metro TV broadcast, Sarkodie expressed his displeasure with a short tweet that stated, “Definitely not the “Ghana” we preach to the world.”
