The 2022 MLB All-Star Game Schedule
The 2022 Major League Baseball All-Star Game will be the 92nd All-Star Game between the American League (AL) and the National League (NL) of Major League Baseball (MLB).
The Los Angeles Dodgers will host the game at Dodger Stadium. The game is set to take place on July 19 and will be broadcast live on Fox television and ESPN Radio across the country.
After the planned 2020 MLB All-Star Game was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, the Los Angeles Dodgers were awarded the 2022 MLB All-Star Game.
The Dodgers will host an All-Star Game for the fourth time, having previously hosted the event in 1949 at Ebbets Field in Brooklyn (when the team was known as the Brooklyn Dodgers), 1959 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, and 1980 at Dodger Stadium.

The 2022 MLB All-Star Game Voting Results
Fans vote in two phases to determine the starting lineups for each league’s designated hitter (DH) and position players.
Starting in 2022, each league’s top vote-getter will automatically earn a spot in the starting lineup.
The top two vote-getters for each other non-pitching position and DH advance to the second round of voting.
Unless an outfielder received the most votes, in which case there are four finalists for the other two outfield spots, there are six candidates in each league for each of the three outfield positions.
Voting is not carried over between phases.
The voting period was split into two parts, with the first taking place from June 8 to June 30 and the second from July 5 to July 8. Each vote is submitted electronically at MLB.com or via the MLB app.
On July 8, the starting lineup determined by popular vote was made public.
The reserve position players and all pitchers who were chosen via the Player Ballot and by the Commissioner’s Office will be made available for signing on July 10.
There will be a total of 23 players on each team’s roster.
Miguel Cabrera and Albert Pujols were added to the rosters of both leagues as the 33rd player on July 8th, according to Major League Baseball.
For their achievements over the previous 20 years, they will receive recognition.
