Buzzgh Entertainment news and showbiz A medical doctor died at the St. Francis Xavier Hospital following a fatal accident in Anwiaso, Adansi Asokwa District, Ashanti Region.
Dr Patrick Yamoah, a Gynecologist and Lecturer in the PA Department at Cape Coast Medical School, was identified as the accident victim.
He was driving from Assin Fosu in the direction of Kumasi.
According to additional information, the victim was in a head-on collision with a petrol tanker with registration number GT-8679-22 from Wassa Akropong heading towards Assin Fossu Direction at around 5 p.m. last night.
According to an eyewitness, the Tanker driver was driving recklessly on the road.
He also stated that the Tanker driver almost killed a tricycle rider at Asokwa Junction, so the accident does not surprise him.
According to reports, the doctor had partied with some college nurses the day before the incident after completing two successful surgeries.
He died suddenly after leaving the hospital around 3 p.m. for Kumasi.
The tanker driver was apprehended by the Adansi Anwiaso Police Command, and the deceased’s body was deposited at the New Edubiase Government Hospital.
