It appeared that Nana Opoku Kwarteng, the father of the late Ebony Reigns, who passed away, started a record label to honor his daughter.
A couple of years ago, he signed and unveiled a female artist Kim Maureen, but only one track titled ‘New Crush’ was released.
until yesterday on Hitz 103.9, Ghanaians barely heard from StarBoy Kwarteng’s camp, he lamented about the laziness of the artist he signed to replace Ebony.
he reported that Kim Maureen, the artiste he signed, had a five years contract with the record label because she claimed she wanted to do things fast but, that has not been accomplished.
Starboy Kwarteng, during an interview with Andy Dosty, revealed that Kim Maureen had not done what she had been asked to do.
He revealed that, after signing her to his record label, he gave her a room in his house so that she could feel comfortable and not be disturbed only by the fact that she was writing songs and going to the studios to record since that was what she was inclined to do.
But Starboy Kwarteng said Kim always leaves the house every time he leaves the country, making him feel too unmotivated to retain the legacy that her late Daughter had left behind since that was the main reason he had signed her.
