Sonnie Badu, a UK-based Ghanaian Gospel singer cum pastor, walked straight into a conversation about a popular news site “Sky News,” portraying Ghana as a poor country.
A number of Ghanaians, particularly celebrities, instructed Sky News and requested them to withdraw and apologize for their uncultured remarks.
Well, instead of giving blames to Sky News, Sonnie Badu urged Ghanaians to channel their frustration to the country’s leaders because they are the ones who depicted Ghana as a poor country to get free things.
He continued that these “greedy” politicians would do anything to get sympathy from the western world, and as such, they should be lynched for Ghana’s bad reputation.
