Senegal confirms first case of coronavirus.

Senegal has become the second African country to confirm its first case of the fast spreading coronavirus.

According to confirmed reports from the Senegalese government, the first patient of the disease is a french man who flew back to Dakar where he lived with his wife and two kids.

The family have been put in quarantine after the man tested positive to the disease.

Coronavirus is a deadly lung disease that is fast spreading on a global scale.

The diseases share some similarities to SARS, and originated from Wuhan china, believed to have been picked up in their seafood market.

The virus has so far infected 89,000 worldwide and has killed about 3000.

The country with confirmed coronavirus cases is about 66, with Nigeria and Senegal also confirming cases.

Some people have been able to recover from the deadly virus and scientists believe their blood and biological makeup could be the key to finding medicine to cure the disease.
