The Afropop, dancehall, and R&B singer’s actual name are Vera Hamenoo Kpeda, but most Ghanaians know her as MzVee. MzVee’s hit singles “Borkor Borkor,” “Natural Girl,” “Dancehall,” and others have made her a household name in the music industry. In 2015, she was named New Artist of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards.
She was signed to the Lynx Entertainment record label but left in 2019. In her early years, the “DaaVee” hitmaker attended St.Martin de Porres School in Accra but later switched to St.Girls’ Mary’s Senior High School, where she is now pursuing a degree in Business Management at Ghana Telecom University.
Mzvee Hamenoo Kpeda was born in Accra’s South La Estates to Ernest Hamenoo Kpeda and Florence Hamenoo Kpeda, a caterer. Three other siblings, two older sisters, and a brother make up the esteemed musician’s family. Margaret, one of her sisters and the third child of her parents, has won us over with her makeup artistry on social media.
We were able to collect some pictures of her despite the fact that nothing is known about her. They are listed below.
