According to a story by Vanguard, a groom-to-be named Mr Olokose Oluwasola Ojo was murdered for ritual purposes in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, by one Kazeem Mohammed and his gang.
According to Vanguard, the deceased was assassinated six days before his wedding by Kazeem, a serial murderer and ritualist who had previously spent time in prison.
The deceased was allegedly persuaded by the perpetrator to accompany him to Patigi, his hometown, to buy three cows for the wedding, which he said were worth N350,000.
The pair had traveled to Patigi on Monday, March 8, 2021, with the intention of purchasing the cows, but the deceased was ambushed by other members of the group, who abducted him and robbed him of N1.2 million, including the N350,000 for the cows.
They also called his relatives, demanding a ransom of N12 million. After much begging from his relatives, the alleged ritualists promised to pay N3M before releasing him for his wedding.
Fortunately, the victim was allegedly murdered by the alleged ritualists soon after the victim’s relatives paid a portion of the ransom requested.
Following the victim’s death and the removal of delicate parts of his body, the ritualists allegedly poured acid on his remains to hasten decay and avoid fouling of the environment.
