SAD: 2 Young Girls Found Dead At The Roadside After Visiting Their Boyfriends

Two young girls named Yvonne and Esther were murdered and dumped along the Koforidua to Adukrom Highway’s Okrakwadwo section in the Okere District of the Eastern Region.

The deceased, who attended junior high school in the Okrakwadwo community of the Okere District, reportedly left home Monday night to visit their boyfriends in Mile 14, a nearby community.

However, they were discovered dead at the side of the road with severe head injuries a few hours later.

Tuesday morning when the locals awoke, they were shocked to discover the girls’ lifeless bodies next to each other by the roadside.

The locals claimed that their attackers killed them at dawn and dumped them by the roadside.

Michael Gadasu, a local assemblyman who confirmed the incident to Starr News, said “there were no marks of injuries on their bodies to suggest that they jumped out of a moving vehicle”.

He said, “Besides that, they were arranged beside each other so we suspect they were killed and dumped“.

While the investigation is ongoing, the bodies have since been retrieved by the Adukrom District Police command and placed at the morgue.
