Juventus is the first football club in the world to have players testing positive to the deadly COD-VID19 virus.
Their match with Inter-Milan today was postponed due to fears of the coronavirus spreading.
During this week, three of their youngster from the youth team contracted the disease after their match with Serie C side Pianese ASD.
The club has released an official statement about the ongoing lock down.
“The training activities of the Juventus Under 23 team are temporarily suspended,” a statement read on Saturday.
“The preventive measure was decided upon indication, and pending further official communications, by the health authorities of Alessandria (Hygiene and Public Health Service – SISP), with whom the Juventus health personnel are in constant contact.
