In Ghana, Kanzo is often throw away and mostly regarded as the most unwanted part in cooked rice,
but pictures surfacing online shows a packaged Kanzo selling for $7.58 which is equivalent to GHC40.
The picture has generated lots of social media reactions as most Netizens could not believe something that is thrown away in Ghana could sell at such a price point abroad.
The “kanzo” was packaged under a branded name called scorched rice.
