Coronavirus cases in Ghana are hitting a record high with over 800 new cases recorded on a daily basis.
it has become a necessity now for every citizen of the country to wear a mask and observe safety covid protocols.
However, journalist and broadcaster captain smarts have revealed that the increase in coronavirus cases is a result of the political rallies that both Nana addo dankwa akufo-Addo and John Mahama held during the 2020 general elections.
captain smart’s was very emphatic on this issue saying that no other political party could have held those large rallies which resulted in people not observing covid protocols.
He said this during his morning show at Angel FM.
the ministry of health has made it now free for every Ghanaian citizen to visit the nearest public center to have a covid test for free if the person is feeling ill or has been contact traced.
