Reverend. Dr Christian Kwabena Andrews popularly known as Osofo Kyiri Abosom, has revealed that he does not play when it comes to taking money from his congregation.
He revealed that consultations fees are something he charges and will not stop despite his political ambitions.
He is the flagbearer of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM); and will be going into the 2020 elections with hopes of becoming the president of Ghana.
He added that the fees he charges differ from person to person that charges he claims on politicians are different from the normal person.
“I don’t joke with my consultation fees. I can’t afford to go hungry when I’m working. Doctors charge for consultation, so why can’t we pastors do the same when people come to us. Those who criticize me and other pastors are just ignorant of the teachings of the Bible.” he told Nana Romeo on Accra 100.5FM’s ‘Ayekoo Ayekoo’ program.
“How can I pay my TV programs and utility bills if I don’t charge for consultation?” Osofo Kyiriabosom quizzed.
He also added why taking consultation for pastors is nothing wrong in the sight of God.
“You are seeking consultation for the knowledge God has given me, so you have to pay. It’s not for free, the charges differ from person to person, politicians are charged different from businessmen and women and ordinary people,” Osofo Kyiri Abosom stated.
