
Top female media personalities in Ghana, Nana Aba Anamoah, Sandra Ankobiah & Berla Mundi have raised concerns over the recent crisis that has shown its head in Nigeria in their bid to end police brutality (# EndSARS).
These renowned personalities are calling on ghana’s president, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to set a foot in the ongoing crisis since he doubles as the ECOWAS chairman.
According to them, it will be very good of President Nana Addo to use his legislative power – as the head of all West African states of which Nigeria is apart of – to intervene in the brutal claiming of innocent lives in their EndSARS protest.

Sandra Ankobia in a tweeter post called on Nana Addo to “show some empathy”. the lawyer cum media personality added that “Please show the Nigerian youth that you care. Please show some authority as the Head of Ecowas. Thank you”

Also, the TV3 broadcaster, Berla Mundi expressed her disappointment in the Nigerian government as she said it has “failed to protect its people”. Berla Mundi who also aired her addition in a tweet was shocked at the news that Nigerian police opened fire on unarmed protesters before calling on Ghana’s president to intervene.
“How you open fire on unarmed civilians leaves me befuddled!! Dear @NAkufoAddo please step in!!!! #EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeraNOW,” she added.

Nana Aba Anamoah on the other hand also quizzed: “[email protected] nothing on NIGERIA from ECOWAS?”
