Veteran hiplife artiste Kwame Nsiah-Apau, known by his stage name Okyeame Kwame has revealed that he is not a religious kind of person but he doesn’t hesitate when invited to a church gathering.
Speaking to Fiifi Pratt on Kingdomplus FM, the rap legend said for the first time that he doesn’t go to church but his wife and kids are Are Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Explaining why he sees no essence for him to go to church, he revealed that the church and religion are very important in man’s life because it is what has reduced many evil doings in the world as it has tamed the bad side of many people.
Despite his complement to religion he however revealed that based on the level he has grown to, his concerns and discipline guilds him in his dealings, something most people need religion to be able. He also stressed that he prefers communicating with God directly rather than getting to God through somebody.
He added that though his children attend “Jehovah’s Witness”, he wouldn’t force them not to go but when they grow enough and also feel they do not want to be a part of any religion…that’s their own decision but will never decide for them.
