Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has taken a swipe at market women for increasing the prices of foodstuff.
just after the President announced that some cities in Ghana will be lockdown to curb the pandemic coronavirus, market women started increasing the price of foodstuff since everyone needs food to sustain the lockdown.
Lydia in a post talked about how corrupted people are in the country.
“You increased sanitizer prices so the market woman couldn’t afford to protect herself. The market woman also increased her prices and you couldn’t afford to feed your family.
The doctors, nurses and other medical personnel can’t get the sanitizers they need, and food to eat; yet they have to treat you when you get sick.
What would happen if they also decided to increase the price of treating you. Corruption begins and ends with us”.
