former president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, has disclosed in a tweet that he does not agree with the president’s decision to lift the lockdown that was imposed in some major cities of Ghana for the past 3 weeks.
According to him in a tweet even before the president lifted the lockdown, several health professionals and citizens were advocating for the total lockdown of the country.
“Recent developments have made it clear, the extent of the spread of the virus. The last report put the number of confirmed cases at 834. Many health experts continue to suggest the necessity and appropriateness of an extension of the restrictions on movement,” he wrote.
