The association Lesbian, Homosexual, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI+) has opened an administrative office in Accra, Ghana, at Tesano.
Setting up an office in the middle of the city would allow them to appeal well to the general population and also to work well as an organization, according to the LGBTQI, which continues to demand recognition for their human rights.
The National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values has responded to the creation of the establishment of such an office in Accra following the creation of the office by the LGBTQI.
The National Coalition for Proper Human Sexual Rights and Family Values urgently demands that the Lesbian, Homosexual, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI) administrative office be abolished immediately.
The involvement of the LGBTQI office defies the country’s cultural traditions and welfare, according to the National Alliance for Proper Civil Rights and Family Principles, and should thus be abolished with immediate effect.
On Wednesday, the coalition held a media conference outlining the potential risks and challenges of Ghana’s LGBTQI advocacy.
