Kumi Guitar to contest in the NPP Primaries

Nana Yaw Kumi, Popularly known as Kumi Guitar is said to be having political ambitions.

A source close to Kumi has revealed that the singer will be contesting for the seat of Akkwatia constituency.

The Akkwatia constituency seat is been occupied by a popular hairdresser Mrs. Mercy Adu-Gyamfi popularly known as Ama Sey of the NPP.

In 2016, Ama Sey humiliated the NDC candidate Mohammed Baba Jamal by winning in a landslide victory.

Kumi Guitar will join the list of Ghanaian celebrities with political ambitions.
