Minister of Information Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, on Monday, January 25, 2021, has revealed that the Akufo-Addo administration is furiously considering another lockdown as COVID-19 cases continue to rise up in the country.

the Minister made this hint after the Ghana health service reported that the active cases stand at 3, 286 with 6 more deaths recorded, making the number of deaths as 367.
Kojo Oppong Nkrumah while speaking to a group of journalist reportedly said;
“There’s a possibility of a lockdown and other restrictions. If this trend continues, then yes that is where we are heading. I have to be very clear on that one that more restrictions could be introduced if this trend continues”.
