Jordan Ayew tests positive for coronavirus

Ghanaian footballer Jordan Ayew who place for Crystal Palace has tested positive for coronavirus and he has gone into self-isolation to treat himself.

This piece of news was revealed by the footballer himself after missing Crystal Palace’s 1-1 draw against Brighton and Hove Albion at Selhurst Park.

He becomes the sixth person among the Ghana squad to contract COVID 19 after their international friendly fixtures against Qatar and Mali in turkey.

“Sadly, I have tested positive for Covid-19 and have begun my quarantine in line with the health guidance,” Jordan Ayew tweeted.

“Thankfully, I am feeling fine and I do not have any symptoms. I will be cheering the boys on from home and look forward to being back on the pitch soon.”

Meanwhile, his coach, Roy Hodgson is not certain when his attacker would be returning. “I don’t know [when we’ll have him back],” He said

“We have to follow the relative government and Premier League guidelines before we see him again.
