“I Sold Oranges and washed dishes on the streets of Newyork to survive”- Okyeame Kwame.

Ghana’s Rap Dacta, Okyeame Kwame has narrated his ordeal in the early stages of his career.

Speaking at Papa’s Pizza in Accra during a diner session organized by Hilynkscom, Okyeame Kwame revealed living in the United States for 3 years was the worst ever decision he has taken in his life.

He said he took the decision not to come back to Ghana when he got the opportunity to travel to the states with Daddy Lumba during the days of their hit song ” M’asan Aba “.

He disclosed that during that time he had a girlfriend who lived in New York and decided to live with her.

He added that the girl later dumped him and he had to sell oranges and wash dishes to survive.
