The sexual preference of Ghanaian hip hop artist Jason Gaisie, recognized in the showbiz industry as Pappy Kojo, has opened up.
The rapper revealed that he is gay and has a preference for a certain type of men in an interview with TV3.
Pappy Kojo listed John Dumelo as someone who is his ‘taste’ as he was providing more information on the kind of men he likes.
‘I am a homosexual guy,’ he said when Giovani Caleb asked him to confirm or refute claims that he was gay.
“Is that a joke?” Giovani asked him but he answered, “No, it is not. I am gay bro. I am into men.”
“What is your kind of man? He was asked again.
In answer, he said, “Men like John Dumelo.”
Pappy Kojo replied, “You can’t change it,” and further showed that he is conscious that the rules of the nation ban homosexuality.
The revelation of Pappy Kojo arrives at a moment when there appears to be a national conversation about people who are homosexual, bisexual, transsexual and queer.
Some ministerial candidates’ comments also prompted debates as to whether the government could legalize it inside the country.
