Most couples nowadays seem to love being divorced, to the point that they also throw divorce parties to celebrate their freedom from their partners.
Last week, a man wrote on his car that he was excited to enjoy his new life as a single man after ending his marriage.
Dr Ikea Bello, a Nigerian woman, has entered the ranks of the “happily” divorced women, having organized a divorce party complete with a giant cake to commemorate her divorce.
Dr. Bello took to social media to announce that she had eventually divorced her husband after 15 years of marriage.
But the big question is: why do divorcing couples feel compelled to throw a huge divorce party?
