Buzzgh Entertainment news and showbiz Ghanaian socialite Hajia Bintu wrote on her blog in August about her first trip to Lagos, Nigeria’s economic hub.
She claimed meeting with well-known comedian Mr. Macaroni and the head of Mavin Music, Don Jazzy, during her visit in a series of tweets.
Two weeks later, it appears that she visited with the intention of filming a skit with Macaroni among other things.
On Monday, September 5, the comedian published the essay on his social media accounts. On Facebook, it was labeled “Hajia Bintu From Ghana Vs Mr Macaroni,” and on Twitter, “Daddy Wa relocating to Ghana.”
In the story, Macaroni is shown attempting to win over Hajia Bintu, who he met in a hotel hallway when she was on her way to visit a friend who was planning to go to Ghana.
Typical of Macaroni, he transforms into Nana Kwame Nkrumah, a “Ghanaian” wearing a Kente, as he tries to persuade Bintu that he is the one she is seeking for.
When he discovered the transaction’s financial implications, all of his enthusiasm vanished. He proceeds with the cash but finds out much later that Bintu and a buddy had conned him.
