In an interview with NYDJ on YFM, rapper Strongman, born Vincent Kwaku Osei, claimed that signees are not beggars and slaves to their masters who have signed them to their record label.

He vigorously argued, perhaps speaking from reality, that artists are not slaves to the record label owners who sign them.

Artists are signed to record labels for commercial collaborations, not to serve them as though they were prisoners and squatters, according to a former signee of Sarkodie’s SarkCess Music.

The talented rapper, who partnered with Sarkodie for two years, also admitted that he has a lot to say about him, based on the false vibes he experienced during his time at SarkCess Music, but he has chosen to remain silent out of respect for his fans.

But now, according to Ruthy of Nhyira Fm, when she appeared on the ‘Entertainment Power Show’ on Saturday, April 24, 2021, Strongman used to pound Fufu for Sarkodie’s family during his days at SarkCess Music, which runs counter to the key reason why Sarkodie signed the guy.

Mind that Sarkodie signed with Strongman in 2017 with the aim of writing chart-topping songs rather than doing house chores like pounding Fufu for Tracey.

But the fact is, we can not refute or affirm Ruthy’s words on Nhyira FM, but based on Strongman’s interview with NYDJ, it is more likely that Sarkodie assigned Strongman to household chores, which is unfortunate!
