Diana Asamoah is overjoyed that celebrity priestess Nana Agradaa has been detained, and she expressed her joy in a Facebook post.
Thunder TV and Ice1 TV, both owned by Nana Agradaa, have been shut down for spreading money ritual ‘Sika Gari’ themes and, above all, for working without a licence.
As a result, the National Communications Authority (NCA) has announced that it is on a mission to close down 49 television (TV) stations that are running without a license.
The step, according to the NCA, is part of a continuous surveillance exercise using the Broadcast Monitoring System (BMS) and the Radio Spectrum Monitoring System on different Satellite Free-to-Air Television platforms (RSMS).
“The monitoring revealed that some channels were operating without valid Authorisations, contrary to Section 2(4) of the Electronic Communications Act 775 of 2008, which states that, ‘Except as provided by this Act or any other law not inconsistent with this Act, a person shall not operate a broadcasting system or provide a broadcasting service without a frequency authorization by the Authority’,” the release said.
“As a result, forty-nine (49) channels have been identified to be operating without valid Authorisations from the Authority and is being shut down accordingly”.
the musician took to her Facebook page and wrote;
“We shall all witness the end of “Sika Gali”. Let me hear a big Amen!“
