Remember the amputee, Miss Mary Daniel Onu, who came to fame on social media after images of her enthusiastically plying her trade on the streets melted social media?
Her life has improved dramatically after well-meaning Nigerians, including former Imo Chief of Staff Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, wanted to help her.
According to a Buzzgh.com post, Chief Nwosu began looking for her after seeing her viral images and discovered she hawks at the iconic Oshodi Market in Lagos, Nigeria, in less than 24 hours.
After obtaining her contact information, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu immediately flew to Lagos State and arranged a breakfast meeting with Miss Mary at Lagos Island on Sunday, April 11, 2021. During the interview, she mentioned that she wanted to open a provision store to provide for herself, her two-year-old daughter, and her elderly mother.
Ugwumba Ugwumba Ugwumba Ug Uche Nwosu quickly raised N1,000,000 (14,200) to help Miss Mary to open a provision store in Lagos; some of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu’s friends also contributed to Miss Mary, as did real estate entrepreneur Prince Ben Odunze and Barr. Steve Asimobi, Senior Legislative Aide to Senator Rochas Okorocha in the National Assembly, and two others were among those arrested.
As a result of this latest growth, the young lady was offered a photoshoot, which has elevated her already soaring image to that of a top model.
The pictures were apparently taken to commemorate her 27th birthday, which is today, April 23.
