“I am posting this with a heavy heart, a lot of sadness and anger as well.
Maureen Anyango, 28years, died earlier today due to negligence at Mama Lucy hospital. I wonder until when will we receive such reports from this same hospital with no one being held countable.
Maureen experienced labour and was taken to Mama Lucy hospital and my good friend Lynn Kish Braidist was among those who took her to hospital . She gave birth to twins but she was left to bleed to death .
Lynn says they called the nurses severally to come and attend to her but they ignored them . Maureen was left to bleed to death.

Just until when will this happen, until when will we record maternal deaths, until when will we loose lives due to ignorance, until when will we here negligence and saddening reports at Mama Lucy Hospital?
Maureen has left behind twins, they urgently need milk to survive. Her family also needs help to plan Maureen’s burial.” RIPMaureen #JusticeforMaureen #EndMaternaldeath
