Amina Rawlings reveals how the death of her father was announced by the dogs in their house

Daughter of former President Jerry John Rawlings, Amina shares how her father’s passion for nature was manifested also in his death.

Announcing the events that unfolded among his dogs at his house, Amina Agyeman Rawlings stated, without specifying the number of dogs, that they gathered around the regular sitting place of her father and howled all night

“You made sure we grew up appreciating and loving nature. Always around animals, always in the field, always enjoying the freedom in nature.

“It is no wonder, that at the moment of your departure, your dogs gathered around your usual sitting spot, howling till they eventually slept from exhaustion,” she said in her tribute to her late father.

It is no mystery that former Flight President Lieutenant Jerry John Rawlings was a deep-seated lover of nature and wildlife, as all those who came into touch with him on a variety of occasions have said.
