A young girl who was brought to Ghana at age 9 as a refugee makes it in life and now makes millions.

At the age of nine, Thelma Teetee Ahamba, a little Liberian girl, escaped to Ghana with her single mother and siblings.


They had nothing to survive on as refugees, but thanks to the kindness of others, Thelma was able to enroll in school.

After 20 years, Thelma is now a successful graduate entrepreneur with international clients.


Thelma Teetee Ahamba, a 29-year-old woman who arrived in Ghana as a refugee with her single mother when she was nine years old, is now a successful graduate businesswoman.

According to renowned Ghanaian blogger, Edward Asare, who was Thelma’s churchmate, she was enrolled in school by some kind individuals and was able to graduate high school at the age of 17.

By the age of 24, she had graduated from Wisconsin University College with a degree in Marketing, which she was able to obtain through scholarships and contributions.


As a student, Thelma began sewing lovely African outfits for sale via her little business, Ahamba Klothing, and Colorful Lemonade Apparels.

The young girl is now a full-time Data and Device Specialist with Lonestar Cell MTN and is also pursuing a master’s degree.

Her company has also expanded into a large franchise that services consumers in Ghana, Nigeria, Liberia, and other nations. from good individuals.
