According to the man, after finishing junior high school, he went to study vehicle spraying.
Years later, he obtained a job at a vehicle repair shop. However, after his brother stole several spare parts from the business and was subsequently jailed for doing so, he also ceased working there.
The man claimed to have picked up driving within a few months; thankfully, he then obtained a commercial vehicle and began driving it to work.
Although he made a good living driving, his friend was the one who first introduced him to booze.
The man states that because he consistently spent his daily wages on booze, he eventually had to mix alcohol and marijuana to feel better.
One day, while intoxicated, he made a proposal to a 16-year-old girl. She accepted, and he later had a sexual relationship with her.
After learning of the young girl’s pregnancy six months later from his brother, he went to see the young girl’s parents and accepted the pregnancy.
They all agreed that he would take care of the girl, but the next morning he was arrested.
Three days later, he was summoned to court on a defilement charge. The man claimed he was given a 10-year sentence and sobbed as the jail guards transported him to Kumasi Central Prison because he never imagined he would experience such a fate.
He learned through his sister four years later that the little girl’s mother had been ill and had been sent to the hospital for treatment, but she had not recovered.
They sought the advice of a fetish priest, who informed them that she will not be healed unless they travel to the jail to beg him for it.
The young girl then admitted that she had been pregnant by a different man. However, his family members were unable to assist him.
The guy continued by saying that after receiving a daily Bible from his mother, he began to confess his faults and preach at the jail.
The man said that 10 years after his release from jail, he had become a preacher.
