A 28-year-old woman died in her boyfriend’s chamber while he was abroad mining at Bodi3 in Wassa Amenfi East, according to reports.
Maame Esi Nyamkye is her given name. Her lover is said to have abandoned her at his home while he went mining.
According to eye witness Bright Agyenfra, the girl’s boyfriend, Y2K, was working in the galamsey pit when he received word that she had perished.
Families of the deceased lady are claimed to have left her remains in the care of the lady, claiming that he must officially notify her family of her death.
The exact reason of her death has yet to be determined, however, she was said to be an ill individual seeking medical attention.
